Licenses for handlers and employees

(a) The commission by rule or regulation may promulgate rules and regulations to establish the registration or licensing of an individual who performs work for or on behalf of a person or entity licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter to include, but not be limited to, employees, independent contractors, transporters, security personnel, quality control or testing personnel, packagers and sales personnel. Individuals registered or licensed pursuant to this section shall be required to comply with all rules adopted by the commission and all applicable laws. (b) Fees for registration or licensing established by rules and regulations promulgated by the commission pursuant to the provisions of this section shall be set forth in the rules and regulations.
