This chapter shall not apply to any course: (1) Recognized by the state department of elementary and secondary education for purposes of complying in whole or in part with the provisions of § 16-19-1 and § 16-19-2; (2) Offered by an educational institution accredited by the applicable national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the department of elementary and secondary education; or (3) Offered by an employer solely to his or her employees at no charge and as part of an in service training program.
