(a) General rule.-- The following shall apply to the construction, alteration, repair and occupancy of all buildings and structures within a borough: (1) The Pennsylvania Construction Code. (2) The Uniform Construction Code adopted under section 301 of the Pennsylvania Construction Code. (b) Primacy.-- This section and any ordinance, rule or regulation adopted under this section shall not supersede or abrogate the Pennsylvania Construction Code or the Uniform Construction Code and shall be construed and read in pari materia with the Pennsylvania Construction Code and the Uniform Construction Code.
