Duties of secretary.

The secretary of the board has the following duties:
(1) Maintain, under 53 Pa.C.S. Ch. 13 Subch. F (relating to records), the minutes of the proceedings of the board and keep accurate accounts of the expenditures of the board.
(2) Transmit bills to the board of commissioners for payment in the same manner as other bills of the township are paid.
(3) Draw requisitions for the payment of money on account of the board of health and present the requisitions to the president of the board for the president's approval.
(4) Provide statements of the expenditures to the board at each stated meeting or as frequently as the board requires.
(5) Prepare, under the direction of the board, the annual report to the board of commissioners and the estimate of appropriation needed for the following year.
(6) Report to the Department of Health at statutorily or regulatorily required intervals the cases of communicable disease reported to the board of health on the form provided by the Department of Health and make an annual report to the Department of Health.
(7) Perform other duties as may be required by the board of health.
