Pennsylvania Code § 73-3913

Care of memorials.

(a) Maintenance and repair.-- The board of commissioners may maintain and keep in good order and repair, at the expense of the township, a soldiers' monument, gun or carriage or similar memorial if the memorial:
(1) is not in the charge or care of an individual, body or organization; and
(2) was not erected by:
(i) the Federal Government, the Commonwealth or the commissioners of the county; or
(ii) the direction or authority of another state.
(b) Donations.-- The board of commissioners may receive money from an individual or organization and may expend the money for the benefit of memorials.
