(a) Short title of chapter.-- This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the Municipal Reapportionment Act. (b) Scope of chapter.-- This chapter applies to the following entities: (1) Municipalities. (2) Units of government created and existing under Subpart E of Part III (relating to home rule and optional plan government). (3) Similar general purpose units of local government created by statute.
