(a) Delivery to commission.-- Any purse or portion thereof withheld under section 1523 (relating to withholding of purses) shall be delivered by the promoter to the commission within 48 hours after the end of the contest. (b) Request for hearing.-- Within ten days after the end of the contest, the licensee from whom the sum was withheld may apply in writing to the commission for a hearing. Upon receipt of the application, the commission shall fix a date for a hearing.
