This act shall take effect in 60 days except that: (1) The amendment adding 42 Pa.C.S. § 762(a)(1)(ii) (relating to appeals from courts of common pleas) shall take effect immediately and shall be retroactive to December 5, 1980. (2) The amendments to 42 Pa.C.S. §§ 4303(a) (relating to effect of judgments and orders as liens), 5501(a) (relating to scope of chapter) and 8301 (relating to death action) effected by this act shall take effect immediately and shall be retroactive to June 27, 1978. 1984, JULY 10, P.L.708, NO.150
