Property, money or other things of value received by a State law enforcement authority under any of the following laws may not be used for contributions to political campaigns, expenses related to judicial trainings or the purchase of alcoholic beverages: (1) A Federal law which authorizes the sharing or transfer of all or a portion of forfeited property or the proceeds of the sale of forfeited property to a State law enforcement authority. (2) A State law which authorizes forfeiture.
