Upon petition by a slot machine licensee, the board may grant an exemption from the permit requirements of this chapter to a gaming junket representative. The board shall consult with the bureau prior to granting an exemption under this section and shall consider the following: (1) The terms of the gaming junket arrangement. (2) The number and scope of gaming junkets. (3) Whether the exemption is consistent with the policies and purposes of this part. (4) Any other factor deemed necessary by the bureau or board. The board may condition, limit or restrict the exemption.
