(a) Consent required.-- It is unlawful for a person to operate the boat of another without the consent of the owner. (b) Defense.-- It is a defense to prosecution under this section that the operator reasonably believed that the owner would have consented to the operation had the owner known of it. (c) Penalty.-- Any person violating this section commits a summary offense of the first degree.
