(a) General rule.-- The commission may designate certain water areas for specific purposes and promulgate such rules and regulations as are deemed necessary to protect and manage the fishery therein. (b) Penalty.-- Any person violating any rule and regulation promulgated under subsection (a) commits a summary offense of the third degree. CHAPTER 25 PROTECTION OF PROPERTY AND WATERS Sec. 2501. Misuse of property and waters. 2502. Disturbance of waterways and watersheds. 2503. Littering. 2504. Pollution of waters. 2505. Interference or damage to hatchery or nursery property. 2506. Commonwealth actions for damage to fish. 2507. Sale of certain fish, reptiles and amphibians prohibited. 2508. Restrictions on transport, sale, importation or release of nonnative injurious fish.
