(a) Petition.-- If the registration of an elector has been canceled through error, the elector may petition the registration commission for reinstatement. (b) Time.-- The petition must be filed by the tenth day preceding an election. (c) Action.-- (1) The commission shall hold a hearing on the petition. (2) If the commission finds that there was an error, the commission shall reinstate the registration and shall promptly update information contained in its registration records.
