(a) Mandatory.-- (1) For purposes of the ongoing development and implementation of the Donate Life PA Registry, the Department of Transportation shall collaborate with the designated organ procurement organizations in applying for Federal or private grants recommended by the organ procurement organizations. (2) The Department of Transportation, in consultation with designated organ procurement organizations, shall establish an annual education program for photo license technicians of the Department of Transportation regarding the provisions of this subchapter. (b) Discretionary.-- Other Commonwealth agencies may collaborate with the designated organ procurement organizations in applying for Federal or private grants recommended by the organ procurement organizations.
