(a) County having venue.-- Venue of any matter pertaining to the exercise of a power by an agent acting under a power of attorney as provided in this chapter shall be in the county in which the principal is domiciled, a resident or residing in a long-term care facility. (b) Declining jurisdiction.-- (1) A court having jurisdiction may decline to exercise jurisdiction if at any time it determines that a court of another county or state is a more appropriate forum. (2) If a court of this Commonwealth declines to exercise jurisdiction, it shall either dismiss the proceeding or stay the proceeding upon condition that a proceeding be promptly commenced in another county or state.
