For the purposes of sections 5608 (relating to acceptance of and reliance upon power of attorney) and 5608.1 (relating to liability for refusal to accept power of attorney), the following shall apply: (1) A person who conducts activities through employees shall be considered to be without actual knowledge of a fact relating to a power of attorney, a principal or an agent, if the employee conducting the transaction involving the power of attorney is without knowledge of the fact. (2) An employee has knowledge of a fact if the employee has actual knowledge of the fact or acts with conscious disregard or willful ignorance regarding the existence of the fact.
