(a) General rule.-- Articles of amendment shall be filed with the department. If the department finds that the articles of amendment conform to law, it shall endorse its approval thereon and forward the articles of amendment to the Department of State. Upon receipt of the articles of amendment, the Department of State shall file the same. (b) Cross reference.-- See 15 Pa.C.S. § 134 (relating to docketing statement).
