(a) Coroner.-- The coroner of a county in which a county morgue is established shall have the following duties: (1) Make general rules and regulations for the morgue's operation and control. (2) Appoint a suitable individual in charge of the morgue. An individual appointed under this paragraph may be removed at the pleasure of the coroner. (b) Salary board.-- The salary board shall determine the number of individuals appointed under subsection (a)(2) and each individual's salary.
