Whether a document of title is adequate to fulfill the obligations of a contract for sale, a contract for lease, or the conditions of a letter of credit is determined by Division 2 (relating to sales), 2A (relating to leases) or 5 (relating to letters of credit). Former Chapter 76, which related to the same subject matter, was added November 1, 1979, P.L.255, No.86, and repealed April 16, 2008, P.L.57, No.13, effective in 60 days.
