(a) Effect on other law.-- Nothing in this part shall be construed to supersede the provisions of the act of December 16, 1999 (P.L.971, No.69), known as the Electronic Transactions Act. (b) Department procedures.-- The department may establish procedures for electronic transactions under this part, including: (1) the filing of applications and renewals for licenses and registrations; (2) the filing of reports and other required records; and (3) the verification of records and signatures on forms.
