(1) At its first meeting after July 1 each year the district board shall choose a chairperson for the ensuing year. The chairperson shall be the presiding officer of the board and have whatever additional functions the board prescribes. (2) Vacancies shall be filled as provided in ORS 198.320. (3) The district board may adopt and enforce rules of procedure governing its proceedings. [Formerly 494.046]
