(1) A person under the influence of an intoxicating liquor, cannabis, psilocybin, an inhalant or a controlled substance may not operate, propel or be in actual physical control of any boat on any waters of this state. (2) An owner of a boat or person in charge or in control of a boat may not authorize or knowingly permit the boat to be propelled or operated on any waters of this state by any person who is under the influence of an intoxicating liquor, cannabis, psilocybin, an inhalant or a controlled substance.
