(1) Each boat shall carry on board, in good and serviceable condition, sound signaling devices of a type required by the board by rule. (2) The board shall make rules for sound signaling devices in accordance with ORS chapter 183. (3) When the board makes rules under this section, it may consider sound signaling requirements and standards adopted by the United States Coast Guard.
