(1) No railroad shall permit or require an employee to use a self-propelled vehicle in its yards or terminals for inspecting trains, equipment or facilities or transporting employees or materials for the repair of trains, equipment or facilities, unless the vehicle is designed, constructed and operated in accordance with the safety orders and regulations adopted under ORS 654.001 to 654.170 and 654.202 to 654.216. (2) As used in subsection (1) of this section, railroad means a railroad as defined by ORS 824.020 and 824.022. [Formerly 761.325] Note: 824.064 was added to and made a part of ORS chapters 823, 824, 825 and 826 by legislative action but was not added to ORS chapter 824 or any series therein.
