(1) A person commits the offense of failure to carry an out-of-state all-terrain vehicle permit if an out-of-state permit is issued for the vehicle under ORS 390.590 and the permit is not carried on the all-terrain vehicle at all times during operation of the all-terrain vehicle in this state. (2) The offense described in this section, failure to carry an out-of-state all-terrain vehicle permit, is a Class D traffic violation.
