(1) A person commits the offense of disrupting a funeral procession if: (a) The person is driving a vehicle that is not a member of the funeral procession and the person drives between the vehicles in a funeral procession; or (b) The person is driving a vehicle that is not a member of the funeral procession and the person joins the funeral procession in order to be exempt from any rule of the road. (2) This section does not apply to any emergency vehicle or police vehicle while that vehicle is performing emergency or police duties. (3) The offense described in this section, disrupting a funeral procession, is a Class D traffic violation.
