The Legislative Assembly finds that: (1) Oregon drivers look to the law in deciding how to restrain and protect children in motor vehicles. (2) The proper restraint of children in motor vehicles will reduce the number of children killed in motor vehicle accidents and reduce the severity of injuries to children who survive motor vehicle accidents. Note: 811.207 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 811 or any series therein by legislative action.
