Jurisdiction over person obtaining or attempting to obtain control

The courts of this state are vested with jurisdiction over every person not resident, domiciled or authorized to do business in this state who is required to file a statement with the Director of the Department of Consumer and Business Services under ORS 732.523 and over all actions involving such a person arising out of violations of ORS 732.517 to 732.546. Each such person shall be considered to have appointed the director for the purpose of service of process. [Formerly 732.580]
