(1) Violation, or participation in the violation, of any provision of this chapter by any pawnbroker or any agent, member, officer or employee thereof, or any other person is a Class B misdemeanor. (2) Upon conviction under subsection (1) of this section, no license shall be granted to such person, nor to the spouse in a marriage of such person, nor to any partnership, association or corporation of which the person is an agent or member, until two years after the date of the conviction.
