ORS 689.522 does not prohibit an insurer or other health care payer from requiring prior authorization or imposing other appropriate utilization controls in approving coverage for any biological product. Note: 689.524 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 689 or any series therein by legislative action.
