(1) Prior to beginning work on any contract or other agreement the labor contractor shall: (a) Display the license or temporary permit to the person to whom workers are to be provided, or the persons agent; and (b) Provide the person to whom workers are to be provided, or the persons agent with a copy of the license or temporary permit. (2) Prior to allowing work to begin on any contract or agreement with a labor contractor, the person to whom workers are to be provided, or the persons agent shall: (a) Examine the license or temporary permit of the labor contractor; and (b) Retain a copy of the license or temporary permit provided by the labor contractor pursuant to subsection (1)(b) of this section.
