Noncommercial pesticide trainee certificate; fee

(1) In accordance with rules adopted by the State Department of Agriculture, as provided in ORS 634.306 (1), the department shall issue or renew a noncommercial pesticide trainees certificate if the applicant or certificate holder:
(a) Is at least 18 years of age;
(b) Is working under the direct supervision and control of a licensed noncommercial pesticide applicator or, if spraying or otherwise applying pesticides by aircraft, a certified aerial pesticide applicator; and
(c) Is in compliance with the applicable provisions of this chapter and rules adopted under this chapter pertaining to noncommercial pesticide applicators.
(2) The fee for a noncommercial pesticide trainees certificate, or renewal thereof, shall be the same as the license fee for a pesticide applicator.
