(1) If not otherwise required or prescribed by federal law or rule, each package or container of every pesticide shall be labeled with: (a) The name and address of the manufacturer or person for whom it was manufactured. (b) The brand name or trademark under which the material is sold. (c) The professed standard of quality of the material. (d) The net weight or volume of the contents. (e) Adequate and necessary directions for its proper and intended use. (2) In addition to the information required by subsection (1) of this section, any pesticide which is highly toxic shall be labeled with: (a) A sign of a skull and crossbones. (b) The word poison in red on the package printed on a background of contrasting color. (c) A poison antidote for the material, if any. (3) The provisions of subsection (2) of this section shall not apply to bleaching powder or chloride of lime.
