Inventory upon removal; fee; prohibited acts

(1) All cattle, including salvage animals, dead animals, other sale animals and fed cattle being sent to slaughter, removed from the licensed feedlot shall be inventoried by the brand inspector of the State Department of Agriculture and the number thereof deducted from the departments inventory records of the licensee. The department shall thereafter issue its brand inspection certificate, or other appropriate document evidencing brand inspection, listing thereon only the number and general description of the cattle removed from the licensed feedlot. The department shall charge the brand inspection fee established by law for such inventory and inspection.
(2) Upon completion of the inventory and inspection of the cattle being removed from the licensed feedlot, no person shall add, remove or substitute for any animal in the lot of cattle subjected to such inventory and inspection.
