As used in ORS 571.400 to 571.501: (1) Fiscal year: (a) Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this subsection, means the 12-month period commencing on July 1 and ending on June 30. (b) If adopted by rule by the Oregon Hemp Commission, means the 12-month period commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31. (2) Hemp means the plant species Cannabis sativa that: (a) Has a tetrahydrocannabinol concentration that complies with the concentration specified by the State Department of Agriculture by rule; and (b) Has the meaning as defined by the department by rule. (3) Processor has the meaning given the term handler in ORS 571.269. (4) Producer has the meaning given the term grower in ORS 571.269. Note: 571.400 to 571.501 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 571 or any series therein by legislative action.
