Oregon Code § ORS 537.781

Applying for injunction to address violation or potential violation

If the Water Resources Department has information that a person has engaged, or is about to engage, in any activity that is or will be a violation of ORS 537.747, 537.753, 537.762 or 537.765 or the standards described in ORS 537.780 (1)(b) or (c), in addition to any other available remedies, the department may apply to the circuit court for Marion County, or to the circuit court for any county in which the activity has occurred or will occur, for a temporary or permanent injunction requiring the person to:
(1) Refrain from the activity; and
(2) Take any actions necessary to remedy any threat to groundwater supplies, public health or public safety.
