(1) The Water Resources Department may accept payments by debit or credit card for any products or services offered by, or fees owed to, the department. (2) The department may add a nonrefundable fee to the amount of any payment made by debit or credit card in an amount reasonably calculated to offset the impact to the department of financial institution fees related to debit or credit card transactions. Note: 536.057 becomes operative April 1, 2026, and applies to applications and petitions submitted on or after April 1, 2026.
