Oregon Code § ORS 527.712

Exemption for practices that comply with federal Endangered Species Act agreements

If a person is party to an agreement with the National Marine Fisheries Service or the United States Fish and Wildlife Service under the federal Endangered Species Act of 1973 (16 U.S.C. 1531 to 1544) and is engaging in a forest practice in compliance with the agreement, the forest practice is not subject to provisions of ORS 527.610 to 527.770 or rules adopted thereunder that relate to protection of a species addressed in the agreement.
Note: 527.712 is repealed only if certain conditions are met. See sections 54 and 60 to 64, chapter 33, Oregon Laws 2022 (third note following 527.711).
