(1) Unless otherwise specifically provided, justice courts have concurrent jurisdiction in the first instance with circuit courts of all offenses under the commercial fishing laws. (2) Any action or proceedings under the commercial fishing laws shall be commenced on order of the State Fish and Wildlife Commission or a person duly authorized to enforce such laws, or by any district attorney, in the county in which the offense is alleged to have been committed.
