As used in this section and ORS 496.562, 496.566 and 497.153, upland bird means those bird family members commonly known as pheasant, quail, grouse and partridge, including chukars. Note: 496.558 and 496.562 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 496 by legislative action.
