Oregon Code § ORS 496.558

Upland bird defined

As used in this section and ORS 496.562, 496.566 and 497.153, upland bird means those bird family members commonly known as pheasant, quail, grouse and partridge, including chukars.
Note: 496.558 and 496.562 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 496 by legislative action. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
