As used in ORS 468.263 to 468.272, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) Bonds means revenue bonds or other types of obligations authorized by ORS 468.263 to 468.272. (2) Pollution control facilities or facilities means any land, building or other improvement, appurtenance, fixture, item of machinery or equipment, and all other real and personal property, whether or not in existence or under construction at the time the bonds are issued, which are to be used in furtherance of the purpose of abating, controlling or preventing, altering, disposing or storing of solid waste, thermal, noise, atmospheric or water pollutants, contaminants, or products therefrom. (3) Governing body means the county court or board of county commissioners. Note: 468.263 to 468.272 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 468 or any series therein by legislative action.
