Oregon Code § ORS 456.603

Public meeting for severely rent-burdened cities; rules

In any year in which a housing indicator demonstrates that at least 25 percent of the renter households in a city are severely rent burdened under ORS 456.602 (2)(g), the governing body of the city shall hold at least one public meeting to discuss the causes and consequences of severe rent burdens within the city, the barriers to reducing rent burdens and possible solutions. The Housing and Community Services Department may adopt rules governing the conduct of the public meeting. [Formerly 456.586; 2025 c.2 25]
