Notwithstanding ORS 447.020, 455.715 to 455.740, 479.810 (3) or 479.855, the Department of Consumer and Business Services shall adopt education, training and examination requirements that allow certification of inspectors to perform inspections on one and two family dwellings under one or more aspects of the Low-Rise Residential Dwelling Code adopted under ORS 455.610 to 455.630. Note: 455.622 was added to and made a part of ORS chapter 455 by legislative action but was not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
