Field investigations and epidemiological studies

Subject to available funds, the Oregon Health Authority may conduct field investigations and epidemiological studies to quantify the extent of indoor air pollution levels and public exposure in Oregon. Field investigations shall be conducted in a manner that does not compete with the business of private contractors. Epidemiological studies may be conducted to look for the causes of illness and collect and analyze data to identify trends and health impacts, especially where national information on significant potential problems is lacking.
