Use of immunization registry and tracking and recall system during state of public health emergency

(1)(a) During a state of public health emergency declared under ORS 433.441 or during a state of emergency declared under ORS 401.165 that is related to a state of public health emergency that has not expired, the immunization registry and tracking and recall system established under ORS 433.094 may be used as a vaccination management and tracking system for the purpose of preventing the spread of diseases that can be prevented by vaccination or for tracking the mass administration of antibiotic prophylaxis.
(b) When being used as authorized by this section, an immunization registry may include persons of any age, and vaccination records may be shared with authorized users of the registry for purposes related to the declared state of public health emergency without obtaining the prior authorization of the clients of the registry.
(2) As used in this section, client and immunization registry have the meaning given those terms in ORS 433.090.
