Benefits and protections afforded to persons in custody of Oregon Youth Authority

Persons committed to the custody of the Department of Corrections and placed in the physical custody of the Oregon Youth Authority under ORS 137.124 or any other statute:
(1) Are entitled to the protection and benefits of ORS 655.505 to 655.555.
(2) Are not entitled to the protection and benefits of ORS chapter 656 or 657.
