(1) It is the expectation of the Legislative Assembly that all state-owned and state-maintained veterans facilities, memorials for honoring veterans and war memorials be in clean condition and good repair for Memorial Day, Veterans Day and any ceremony or other event that may be held to commemorate Memorial Day or Veterans Day. (2) The Director of Veterans Affairs shall communicate to all state agencies in advance of every Memorial Day and Veterans Day the expectations described in subsection (1) of this section. Note: 406.510 and 406.520 were enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but were not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 406 or any series therein by legislative action.
