Oregon Code § ORS 350.176

Unemancipated students may take high school equivalency test

(1) As used in this section, student means an individual who is 16 or 17 years of age and is not emancipated pursuant to ORS 419B.550 to 419B.558.
(2) Notwithstanding ORS 350.175, a student, with consent of a parent or legal guardian, may take a high school equivalency test.
