A school district or education service district: (1) Must provide notification to the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries when the district: (a) Constructs a new school building; or (b) Modifies an existing school building in a manner that may affect the seismic risk category of a school; and (2) May provide to the parents or legal guardians of the students of the district information about the seismic risk category of a school, as determined under an assessment process approved by the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries. Note: 332.163 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 332 or any series therein by legislative action.
