(1) Each biennium, the Governor shall propose as part of the Governors recommended budget an amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements on existing state-owned buildings and infrastructure that is equivalent to at least two percent of the current replacement value of the state-owned buildings and infrastructure. (2) As used in this section, state-owned buildings and infrastructure does not include: (a) Buildings and infrastructure owned by or for the use of a public university listed in ORS 352.002 or a community college as defined in ORS 341.005; or (b) Transportation infrastructure, including roads and bridges. Note: 291.215 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 291 or any series therein by legislative action.
